Grizzly Bear!

So I made a new cd for my car and randomly put alot of Grizzly Bear on it. I’d forgotten how much I adore them.

I saw them a few years ago at The Roundhouse in Camden and it was the best show I’ve ever seen. Beach House opened which was pretty special but really Grizzly Bear were on another level.

I spent the entire show in awe and with a weird smile on my face – that weird smile people who are so in love with the music get, then when they catch the eye of another big fan in the audience they nod like they’re the only ones who get it 🙂

Yeah – totally a fan but thats okay. I like the fact that music touches me so much, makes breathing easier.

Heres my favourite Grizzly Bear song… old but amazing.

Mention a name, we know (we know)
Appear tame, it shows (it shows)
Please dont feign, the ropes (the ropes)
Always the same, I know (Iknow)

(Im shooting them myself, I should’ve made it matter)
(Im shooting them myself, I should’ve made it matter)

(Im shooting them myself, I should’ve made it matter)
God let it go, it doesnt mean a thing
(Im shooting them myself, I should’ve made it matter)
Chance and sow, nothing changing

There’s no time, to go (to go)
Through the designs, we know (we know)
Never mind, although (although)
Maybe this time, we’ll grow (we’ll grow)

(Im shooting them myself, I should’ve made it matter)
(Im shooting them myself, I should’ve made it matter)

(Im shooting them myself, I should’ve made it matter)
God let it go, it doesn’t mean a thing
